Terms of Service
Effective Date: 04.07.2025
These terms constitute a public offer and define the rules for using the AndreTransfer service (hereinafter – the Service), managed by IK “AndreTransfer”, reg. No. 41502039438 (hereinafter – the Operator). In case of any discrepancies between the Latvian and other language versions, the Latvian version shall prevail.
1. General Provisions:
1.1. For the purposes of these Terms, the “Service” shall be understood as the entirety of information channels used for ordering services, including but not limited to: the website www.AndreTransfer.lv, the phone number +371 26074631 (calls and messaging apps), and official social media accounts.
1.2. The Service provides intermediary information services, connecting clients (hereinafter – Client or Passenger) with independent carriers (hereinafter – Carrier) who offer non-regular passenger transport services.
1.3. By placing an order through any of the means specified in clause 1.1, the Client confirms that they have read, understood, and fully agree to these Terms. The act of placing an order constitutes unconditional acceptance of this offer.
1.4 By placing an order, the Client confirms that they have read and fully agree not only with these Terms and Conditions but also with the “Terms of non-regular passenger carriage,” which govern their direct relationship with the Carrier and form an integral part of the entire ordering process.
2. Role and Liability of the Service Operator:
2.1. The Operator provides the Client exclusively with information services – finding and assigning an independent Carrier to perform the trip according to the Client’s specifications.
2.2. The Service Operator is not a carrier, does not provide transport services, does not own vehicles, and is not in an employment or agency relationship with the Carriers.
2.3. The Operator’s liability is strictly limited to the quality and timely provision of its information services.
3. Carrier’s Liability and Procedure in Case of Force Majeure:
3.1. The Carrier bears full and exclusive liability for the safety of the trip, the life, health, and property of passengers, the technical condition of the vehicle, and compliance with all Traffic Regulations. The Carrier’s civil liability is insured in accordance with a valid third-party liability insurance policy (OCTA).
3.2. For airport trips, the Carrier’s goal is to deliver the Passenger approximately 2.5 (two and a half) hours before the flight’s departure time. Despite this, the Carrier does not guarantee arrival at the destination at a precise, fixed time and is not liable for any of the Passenger’s indirect losses (including the cost of airline tickets, travel packages, hotel bookings, tours, etc.) that may arise from a delay.
3.3. Reasons for delay for which the Carrier is not materially liable for indirect losses include circumstances of force majeure: traffic congestion, road accidents (not caused by the Carrier’s fault), actions of third parties or public authorities, extreme weather conditions, incidents involving animals, and sudden technical failures of the vehicle.
3.4. Assistance Guarantee: In the event of one of the above-mentioned incidents occurring, which makes further travel impossible, the Carrier undertakes to take all reasonable and possible actions to assist the Passenger, including calling an alternative taxi or contacting the Service Operator to arrange for a backup vehicle. A backup vehicle, if provided by the Operator, is free of charge for the Passenger.
4. Payment and Contract Conclusion:
4.1. Payment for the transportation service is made directly to the Carrier in cash.
4.2. The Service Operator does not charge the Client for its information services.
4.3. The contract for transportation, based on the terms of this offer, is concluded directly between the Client and the Carrier at the moment the order is confirmed.
5. Obligations of the Client:
5.1. The Passenger is strongly advised to independently allow for sufficient extra time for the trip, in addition to the standard set out in clause 3.2.
5.2. The Client undertakes to arrive at the agreed-upon pick-up location on time and to inform of any changes (e.g., flight delays).
5.3. The Client is responsible for having all necessary travel documents.
